Thank you so much for sharing the truths in these words. In so many ways I can relate to them from my own journey thought the fire but never had the words to explain it. I’m in awe of finding words that convey the journey so well! Thank you for letting God use you in such a beautiful way!
What a kindness it is when God brings language to what our hearts have lived but couldn’t name. I’m so grateful this put words to your own journey. He knows how to speak to us at just the right time. It feels like a gift to have been used by Him in such a way.
I am trying to find the right words to comment as a response to the words I have just read...
I guess firstly, thank you. It is so clear that your words are written not from theory but from experience and obedience. Thank you for walking those scorched lands and bringing us water from the oasis that you found there. There are so many phrases and sections I want to highlight and meditate on. But this is the one for me right now.
'This is the place where action feels holy, but silence is obedience.'
To wait as the Holy One says wait even when everything in us wants to work, wants to do, wants to fight and rebuild. Faith is to do 'nothing' but with faith 'nothing' becomes everything.
I am sure I will be reading this a few more times, thank you for writing 🙏🏼
Wow, Anna! what a beautiful, thoughtful response. I’m so thankful the Spirit met you as you read. I’ve been completely humbled by the way He’s chosen to use this piece, so far beyond anything I imagined. That line you picked out is one I still sit with often. Thank you for sharing how He spoke to you through it. Glory to Him alone.
Such an insightful and encouraging Word. How The Most High keeps us under His watchful eye as he refines us in the fire. A timely read for me. Thank you for this very poignant reminder!
I’m so glad it found you at the right moment. There’s something deeply comforting in knowing He’s not just allowing the fire but staying near through it. Holding you as you keep walking—He’s so faithful.
Aww.. I feel cradled, held, and seen upon reading each word, each sentence. Thank you for such beautiful articulation of what it means to tend the sacred fire, to become a living tree that we are. 🤍
Your words feel like worship. What a gift—to know the Spirit held you as you read, and to glimpse how He’s tending the fire in you too. Yes, a living tree—not scorched, but surrendered, rooted, becoming. Thank you for reading so deeply.
Thanks for this deep read, the message is impactful and timely.Wotds I needed to hear... The fire doesn't burn,it transforms. When Shadrack Meecheck and Abednego were thrown into the fire,God did not remove the fire,He joined them in the 🔥...
Yes, what a powerful reminder. He didn’t remove the fire… He entered it. And not one thread was singed, only the ropes that bound them. That’s what He’s doing still; burning off what keeps us from freedom, not to harm but to refine. I’m so grateful this met you in His timing.
Thank you, Amanda. I’m glad it found you. I pray the same Spirit who shaped these words continues His quiet work in you—He’s faithful to meet us in the fire.
Thank you so much. I love how He weaves the same truth through different voices—sometimes pruning, sometimes fire, always love. The Kingdom really does take all kinds—and He wastes nothing. Grateful to be walking the same path, even from afar.

I published a short piece on spiritual pruning today and this is such a beautiful reminder of the other side of/to/with that.
The Kingdom takes all kinds to make the world go round

Wow, I feel like this found me at the right time! Thank you.
I’m so glad it reached you when it did. He really does know how to meet us right where we are—“A word in season, how good it is.” (Proverbs 15:23)
Wow! This is profound and painfully true 😮💨
Thank you. I’m so glad it found you—He knows when to speak, and how to hold us as He does.
Amen
